We are seeking an HR Business Partner at our Spencer, Wisconsin, Dairy Plant to collaborate with and provide solutions for leaders and employees, deliver timely feedback and support across all HR functions to achieve business goals, and make a meaningful impact as part of a Fortune 250 company.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively recommend ideas and solutions to effectively address the needs of the organization.

  • Effectively teach, coach, and influence others to motivate and gain appropriate buy-in to drive results.

  • Educate leaders to ensure consistent application of policies, union contract language, while promoting positive employee relations.

  • Conduct investigations and make corrective action recommendations, with appropriate level of management intervention.

  • Interpret complex and ambiguous situations while consistently applying company policy, union contract language and great employee relations to understand challenges and mitigate risk.

  • Partner with EHS and plant leadership as needed to ensure consistent application of leave of absence policies, procedures, and requirements (ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation and Disability)

  • Work with the HR Leader to ensure compliance, and claim response in coordination with Legal for EEOC, FMLA, Code of Conduct, Discrimination, Harassment, and other legal/policy issues.

Experience + Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field along with 2 years of HR Generalist/business partner experience.  Candidates with an associate’s degree with 4 years of related experience may be considered.

  • Experience working in a union environment highly desired

Hours: This is a three-shift manufacturing plant; the incumbent will need to be flexible to work off-shifts from time to time or switch shifts as needed for communication purposes.
