The City of Marshfield is seeking Adult School Crossing Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors and is focused on making a difference in their community. The Marshfield School Crossing Guard program was established to provide enhanced pedestrian/bicycle safety to school age children on their way to and from school. The program is administered by the Marshfield Police Department. Uniforms are provided and no prior experience is needed.
Crossing Guards work 180 days a year when school is in session. This is a Monday – Friday position (August – June). Crossing guards work approximately 7:15am – 8:00am and 2:45pm – 3:05pm. Guards are compensated on the basis of 1.5 hours of pay for each crossing session, amounting to three hours per school day.
