Description: Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Pay: Starting at $20/hour plus a $1.00/hour differential for 2nd shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Powered industrial vehicle operations which may include forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
- On occasion may need to backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of equipment operations, and minor troubleshooting ability.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Able to obtain licenses for and operate powered industrial equipment at a safe level.
- Knowledge of HMI (Human/Machine Interface) systems.
- Basic understanding of 120/240VAC electrical systems and low voltage DC and control wiring.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work from heights.
- Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for Preventative Controls
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Industrial, construction, and/or mechanical experience preferred.
