Description: The Electro-Mechanical Technician will research, plan, design, develop, and conduct tests on electronic cables/harnesses and mechanical assemblies and/or systems. This technician will use a wide variety of physical and digital tools to diagnose, repair, maintain, and build machinery and its accompanying documentation.

 

Pay: Dependent on experience and qualifications    

$2000 Hiring Bonus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine how to assemble parts, machines, and other equipment.
  • Use specialized instruments to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies.
  • Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
  • Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.
  • Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-pressure environment independently.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge of computers and applicable software

Education/Experience:

  • Associate Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certifications in Industrial Electronics or Telecommunications Electronics Preferred.
  • One year of experience or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
