Livestock Lead

The UW Marshfield Agricultural Research Station is hiring a morning lead on the livestock care team. Qualifications for this position include experience working with dairy cattle, administering medications and treatments to cattle, experience with record keeping and electronic cattle management software, understanding of animal handling and dairy cattle well-being, and equipment operation.

This position is required to uphold the cleanliness of the milking facility and cows to grade A standards and assist in livestock research. Normal hours are 4:30 am - 1:00 pm, five days a week, and will work every other weekend. Position will work at least 5 of the 9 observed legal holidays.
