Description: This position is responsible for efficient and safe operation of casepacker and robotic stacking and de-palletizing equipment throughout the packaging/palletizing areas.

 

Pay: $19.00-$27.84/hr

$2000 Hiring Bonus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
  • Verify quality control items such as product coding, packaging, etc.
  • Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats.
  • Operate packaging/palletizing equipment at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands which includes Casepacker Equipment, PaR System Robots, and Palletizing & De-Palletizing systems.
  • Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
  • Powered industrial vehicle operations which may include forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
  • Verify order counts and initiate product order changes.
  • Must visually inspect and make minor adjustments to robotic equipment as necessary.
  • Verify final coding and packaging integrity for finished product.
  • Backfill to other positions/departments as needed, including driving forklift for the PAR/casepacker room.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
  • Basic understanding of robotics and control systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Able to understand daily production needs.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must be able to write, speak, read and understand English.
