Description: In this position, you will be key to enhancing workforce productivity and work quality by proactively identifying and preventing potential delays. You will oversee the scheduling and coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment access to ensure smooth and efficient execution of all maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the principal liaison between Maintenance and Production for scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Be responsible for determining resource availability, ensuring realistic backlog relief expectations, obtaining required permits, and verifying that necessary parts and properly trained employees are available.
  • Moderate weekly scheduling meetings to achieve consensus on resource deployment and manage preventative maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of routines.
  • Coordinate high-priority work orders with the existing plan, striving to optimize schedule compliance.

In addition, this role will support job execution by ensuring supervisors are equipped with clear and accurate job schedules, monitoring schedule compliance, and addressing any discrepancies. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed work orders, contributing to both long-term and short-term planning, and visiting job sites to prioritize tasks, assess job scope, and identify safety hazards. Throughout, you will ensure adherence to safety and quality assurance standards while providing support to the Maintenance Manager as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Well-qualified candidates should possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt effectively in a dynamic environment. Effective communication is essential to ensure high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates must also be able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.

Other key requirements include:

  • Ability to obtain licenses and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
  • Capability to climb ladders and work from heights.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for the Preventative Control - Cleaning and Sanitation Program.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Preferred experience in industrial, construction, or mechanical fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Component Content Management System (CCMS)
